I am looking to use a 21" Viewsonic monitor for my cab.  I am seroiusly considering making it rotate, but I have a couple of questions:
1. I plan on removing the monitor from the case and supporting it by the 4 holes at each corner of the tube and by the bottom (where most of the electronics are).  But when I rotate it, the bottom now becomes the side.  Is this an issue?  Will I need additional support?
2. I don't really have a second question.  Well I did a minute ago, but I think I just figured it out.  I'll share, just in case somebody has a comment...  I was concerned that if I make the monitor rotate *too* freely, then when I rotated it to the vertical position it would be unbalanced and it would tend to settle to the horizontal position.  Then I figured that a majority of the weight is in the tube (correct me where I go wrong) so it may be ok.  And if it is off slightly, a few counterweights on the opposite side should balance it nicely.
If you need any clarification, let me know and I will try to draw some pics.
Thanks for your help.
