Preferred Jukebox Software for a MAME Cab
« on: June 19, 2014, 09:04:24 am »
Hello all,

I am in the process of building a new MAME cab and have some questions you might be able to answer here for me. The new cab will be a vertical slim cab using a 37" lcd TV as my primary monitor. As part of this build I have a couple things I need to figure out. First, my wife would like to have this cab act as a means to play music while she is sitting on the back porch watching the kids in the pool. Since I am not using a touchscreen, I am wondering what jukebox software would be best in this application. I a hoping for something that is controllable via joysticks and buttons so as to make it easy for her to navigate without resorting to pulling out the keyboard and mouse to use the software.

Here is a pic of the cab as it sits now.

Thoughts and recommendations are welcome.

John
