« on: June 08, 2014, 02:18:15 pm »
ok finaly done with most things,
i have the cabinet all up and ready, all stickers, my buttons are wired,
now what's left is the "fun" part ..

i need to put all the games in my pc right ?

so amm... i'm into well.. any games that's fun to play with two players..
do you guys know of a good emulator that uses well.. games from the time of mortal kombat \ super street fighter, 3 or 4.. ( i don't know is ssf 4 going to take a strong computer or normal\old would be good ?)
amm.. i'm into all kind of games really... just not too old.. somthing a computer that was average 8 years ago can carry...

any sujjestions ?

and also with that sort of games you have an emulator ? i can get from somewhere ? or i should download the games one by one ?

you guys are awsome for helping me out so much with all my questions, and i promis to have some pics soon!!!

thanx allot !!!

You may want to start with the list in this thread.

It has a variety of good titles, even if some of them are older than what you're looking for.

Please observe Rule 5 -- Don't ask about where to download ROMs/ROMsets.   :police:

That said, it's easier to download an entire ROMset and use a compatible version of MAME than it is to download one game at a time.

Consider using MAMEUIFX (a GUI build of MAME) for making a gamelist.

I keep an "archive" folder with a full ROMset under the "roms" folder.

When I want to add/remove games I just copy the desired file into (or delete the existing copy from) the "roms" folder.

This is a great way to build and refine a list of games that you like.

Once you have the desired games, install MAME (official build version for greater stability) and the desired front end on your cab.

Copy all the related ROMs to the MAME "roms" folder on your cab and configure MAME and your front end.   ;D
