Advice on Cabinet value
« on: June 05, 2014, 01:21:36 pm »
Hello all - quick question regarding a value of some possible purchases. Local owner selling some of the below titles (full upright cabs). I looked up some pricing online, but want to get the take of the folks on here. Assuming fair condition, functioning games, am I wrong in thinking its a steal to pay $100 each for the following games? Keep in mind I have not seen them yet, but I will be seeing them soon. Thoughts on their value in non-working (but decent physical condition) are welcome as well. Thanks!

Ms Pac Man
Donkey Kong
Qix
Missile Command
Tempest

$100 is a good deal on them no matter the condition !  Figure the PCB sets for most of those will resell for more than that - the Missile command trackball and atari cone buttons alone make it a deal at $100 - pretty much the same for the tempest spinner

Cool, thanks. I'm going to check them out in a few, hopefully they will be in good shape. The guy seemed a little unsure, so I may even be able to talk him down if no one else has made any offers. I'll know soon enough... and then have to figure out transportation and find space for them haha. I'll have to post about my first cabinet experience (just got my first 2 free last week) in another thread.
