That's sort of an odd angle to really tell. Any chance of a side view and an underneath pic.

Not to sure about the overlay.  :)

For some reason I think of a super mario bros playchoice machine.  Could be easily wrong though.  =)

For some reason I keep wanting to guess maybe a Midway style cab CP. The reason I wanted to look at the bottom was to see if there were any hack jobs to the cp that the overlay might have covered.

Here a few links that describe what I'm talking about.

Check the last link before the others, as this might be the one that matches your panel best. Or last I think so.  :-\

Thanks for the info.  Could be from one of those for sure.  I decided to offer it up for trade or even for free at:

Could it be a newer overlay over an old CP graphis? I can't tell from the pic (where it is peeling up).

Looks like a Gaplus CP too (but then another color). Apparently Namco/Midway made several cabinets with a similar CP.

It's a generic overlay.

The actual metal panel is definitely from a mid 80's Midway video game. I'm thinking maybe a Mappy or Burgertime.

FWIW, you might want to try and sell that panel on eBay. I've seen Midway CP's go for a pretty penny on there, esp, if they can use it for a PAC cab.

I just shipped out a PAC panel, from FL to NY, and shipping was $16, so that's something else to consider.
