Stereo Sound / 6 in 1 jamma switcher
« on: May 22, 2014, 12:17:08 pm »
Hey All, I am wiring up the volume POT(s) for a cabinet that has recently become a 6 way jamma switcher

I am using the follwing PCB's

area 51
point blank
point blank 2
wing shooting championship
lord of gun
lethal enforcers

I curently have the JAMMA harness wired so that everything is running to the RIGHT speaker  using JAMMA pins for + and - audio - the cabinet is an old Lethal Enforcers cab that has stereo speakers.

Is there a way to wire the speakers that will make BOTH work in MONO mode for all games?

I would like the stereo available in games that have it enabled but I am more concerned with uniform operation so the JAMMA switcher contorls ALL switching.

more or less, is it okay to merge the L and R channels on these games that push stereo through the JAMMA harness?
