how do you use this "tool"? I just downloaded it into my computer. Is there a text file....

I beleave that there is extra info on the drivers disk or on the ultimarc website. I cant find my driver disk. but i think that you palce the program in the mame folder and when you open it you tell it where a certain folder is and then it changes all of your .inis to match the games original resolution. I attached a picture of what it looks like when you open the program.. just tell it where mame.exe is, pic your options and away you go!!!!

I think tweeter is using my AVGA tool rather than AVRES...

There is a readme which should be in your installation directory - give that a read :)  Drop me a mail if you need any help.
