Let me know if any further questions.
is it ok to ask a quick question
regarding your ipac/keyboard encoders products, there have been some talk about people using using eg. windows xp overclocking their usb ports which are usually 125hz default i believe, up to 1000hz in an attempt to shave off a bit of input lag
i think you may have answered some questions on this before but can i just verify
regarding your usb2.0 devices such as the minipac, is there actually no benefit/no need/no point to overclock the usb ports?
many thanks

Hey Andy, I emailed you two days ago regarding this new product.  I haven't gotten any responses.  Would this be a better place to send you a question?

Thank you.

Thats right, there is no need. The fixed default only applies to "Low speed USB" where the host ignores the device-specified interval and substitutes 7 ms. These use Full Speed USB which specifies 2 ms and the host uses this value.

Thats strange. I always answer emails and just checked again, none unanswered. Can you re-send and if still nothing post a PM here.

Hey Andy, I got a question to ask you before I order.  I purchased 21 buttons of UltraLux RGB buttons pre-wired from you 2 months ago with PACLED64.  I haven't install it yet and noticed that you came out with a Ultim I/O and I am very insterested in this.  My question is what else do I need to buy to make my setup work.  I currently have:

21 UltraLux RGB buttons pre-wired
4 JLF Joysticks
PACLED64

My control panel consists of:  4 Players. with 38 buttons total.

Player 1:  8 buttons + (1 COIN + 1 START)
Player 2:  8 buttons + (2 COIN + 2 START)
Player 3:  4 buttons + (3 COIN + 3 START)
Player 4:  4 buttons + (4 COIN + 4 START)
Track ball with LEFT and RIGHT buttons for MOUSE CLICK.
ESC, ENTER, TAB, PAUSE (Admin Buttons)

I know I would need to puchase 17 more buttons, a U-TRAK Trackball, Ultrata I/O, 4-player expasion kit, Extension Hardness Pack.

Would my setup work?  What else do I need?

Thank you.

I'm loving the I-PAC Ultimate I/O. This has made my first attempt at building my own controls so much easier.  :applaud:

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure the way the LEDs light up on start-up? I thought I read about that somewhere, but for the life of me I can no longer find that information.

Yes the stored start-up script can be re-created. It is done by using the PacLED64 software utility. There is more info and a download link here: http://www.ultimarc.com/pacled64.html

Agreed - thanks for the info, Andy, and Merry Christmas!

And thanks for bringing this up, Token - I've thought about asking this question about a dozen times!  Merry Christmas to you as well!
