Help with switch wiring
« on: March 31, 2014, 01:36:18 am »
Does anyone know how to wire this switch up for single throw? I could guess but I don't want to jack it up.

Now to extend your original question... Where is the best place to get one of these IEC Fused Power Inlet with a red Lighted Switch? I'm looking for the press fit version without the screw holes. Anyone found a decent price online or in store at a Canadian chain?

Where did you get this Green one with the screw holes?

And if they are so popular for this hobby, why don't more arcade shops stock them?

Amazon seems to carry a bunch of different styles under varying brand names. Most seem to ship for dirt cheap from Hong Kong. I've seen green and red LED buttons, but I don't think any other colors.

Amazon has the green one like that for $4.50 shipped - ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DS1NC0/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller= )

Not sure why the arcade shops don't carry them but could be they would have to charge more for them than the hong kong shops since the Govt there assists with the shipping charges which allows those type of products to be sold that cheaply where other countries pay more than the item costs just to mail it !!

I figured the Chinese government was subsidizing the shipping on these items. They're even sent air mail as opposed to slow boat.  :lol

Don't forget to buy fuses! They don't come with any, and they aren't the standard size.
