Roll call: San Jose Superauctions, Dec 6th
« on: December 02, 2003, 03:20:12 pm »
 ;D

Preview Time from 8am-10am, auction afterwards.

Who is going? I plan on going (with BYOAC shirt of course) - might bring a friend along for the preview period. Hopefully Tom will show up as well. Anyone else?
5 MAME cabs and counting...

Ever wonder what full side art looks like?

I'll will be there with my 2 kids. The wife has to work so she will miss all the fun as well as the Sharks/Stars game. I don't have a nifty BYOAC shirt so I may have to go in one of my jerseys.

I was thinking about going, went to one around a year ago, but didn't stay for the whole thing.(Had my wife with me!)

This time if I go, I'll drop her off at the Mall! hahahaha

I'll make sure to wear my Avalanche jersey then to even things out :)

I'd really like to go, but I've got absolutely no room for anything. Maybe I can start storing at other people's places ala PaigeOliver :D

Never stayed long enough at the auction to find out, but do they ever auction off vending machines (Coke, Pepsi)?

I'll be there. I will have my BYOC hat on. I may bring my son Dominick.
I am bringing my F250 and tarps. If I spend too much, I can sell game transport service!

Looking for Tron, Galaga, Ms. Pacman, Centipede and junk cabs.

I'll be there.
With my wife.
To find me, keep an eye out for a girl with a unusual arcade related T-shirt on. (I'll be next to her) ;)

 ;D ;D ;D HEY!  :D ;D ;) :P

Actually, I have all my games again. All 18 of my arcade and pinball cabinets are with me again, and there might be two more on the way (an Arabian and a mostly empty cocktail).

Eek, then I will have 20. I remember when I thought having 3 was great!

I'd like to go but it's an hour+ drive, and I'm not a morning person.  Plus I don't have room at home or the transportation to take it there.  Hmm... come to think about it, it's the morning thing and the small car that are really stopping me. :P

However, if I happen to be awake early enough, I'll make a trip down there just to see the stuff, and then maybe stop at fry's on the way home. ;)

I can probably transport games as well heading towards the hayward area as long as the trailer isn't full.

BTW, the auction is moved to next weekend. I hear they needed more time for do rag to cart his stuff west.

He's definately no site to see... *<shiver>*
At the last auction Nannuu's wife saw him (not knowing who/what he was) & told Nannuu that she just saw the creapiest guy she had ever seen... When she pointed him out, I about hit the floor laughing... But it's true...

And oh the humanity... the smell...  *<GAG!>*
I'm not a freak!...
Oh wait...

He works for Super Auctions, I believe.  So he has ample opportunity to find games to MAME and sell.

That's what he wants people to think.  But the auctioneers freely allow him to "adjust" games during the auction if the monitor is fuzzy, etc.  And if anybody else tries to do that, they tell you not to.
