Forum Search - confirm resubmission
« on: February 21, 2014, 04:51:13 pm »
When I am looking at search results, I have an issue after clicking on one of the results. When I click the back button to go back to results, it says that I need to confirm the resubmission. I have to click refresh, then click on a continue button to get back to the search results. Is there any way to fix this? I always want to look at the list again when I hit the back button, and it seems like unnecessary steps. It only does this on the first page of search results. The second and later pages just go back to the search results as expected.

I am using Chrome on win 8.1.

Thanks,
Paul

It does that for me, too. Just figured it was like that.

Same for me. When searching, instead of clicking the link, I right click and open the link in a new tab. Then close the tab when done and my search is still there.

This is what I do.  Vigo speaks much wisdom.

That will work. It is odd that it only resubmits on the first page of results though.

Ditto. CTRL-Left Click also does the trick (in at least Chrome).

Clicking a link with the mouse wheel button is also an option.

You son of a ---smurfette---! That worked!

well, yeah. just like clicking in the mouse wheel (and holding it) then moving the mouse up and down scrolls.

What a newb!
