Game Select Screen - Snap Display Question **SOLVED**
« on: February 21, 2014, 09:33:33 am »
Hi all,

I have a question about the Maximus Arcade select list.

I am using the default arcade cabinet (Maximus Arcadius) to display the marquees, snaps, and video snaps for each game in MAME.  My question is how does MA interpret if the game is vertical or horizontal?  At this moment, it has Moon Patrol as a vertical game and Journey as a horizontal game on the game select screen in the snap display.  I have tried searching the MA files to make a quick edit, but have had no luck.  WOuld this possibly be in the MAME files instead?

Does anyone know you to change this (if it's even possible)?

Thanks!!

UPDATE

Solved the issue in a simplistic way.  I just went in Preferences (CTRL P) and swapped the two games.  Renamed Journey to Moon Patrol and Moon Patrol to Journey (while editing the rom names as well).  Everything works perfectly now.
