Urgent cab shelf question
« on: November 30, 2003, 10:33:50 am »
My dads on his way over to install the shelf and tv and my place, and was wondering how to center it properly on my cab.

I measured the angle for the shelf, its perpendicular to the glass and mounting frame. but just wondering how to center it on my cab

I assume its inbetween the two monitor brackets centered, or does it have to be off center?

Cab is a capcom dynamo,

thx for the help, my dad was already on his way here to do this, and i want to make sure i dont make a mistake :)

I'd measure the monitor/glass section at the very front of the cab (top to bottom).  Then measure the height of the TV.  Use those measurements to figure where to place the shelf to keep the screen in the middle, but bear in mind the controls etc. at the bottom of the TV - you might want these covered (?)

That is assuming you want it centered, but that is probably how I would do it.

Also , how far away should i put my 27inch tv from the cabs glass?
i heard 2inches is normal, but not sure.

also this cab is smaller for a 27 inch..  its 30inches long in depth
As opposed to 40inches like most 25 - 27inch tv ones which are usually 40inch
(mortal kobbat, nba jam)

should i compansate the distance from the monitor and glass farther back seing its a big tv with a small control panel.  I'll be right up to the monitor :)
