Do I just need to get any of the 7-pin S-Video to Component adapters? Are they the same for ATI and NVidia?
I don't know if they're all the same. I might have a spare Nvidia one if the one you have doesn't work.
You may have to connect the tv with a pc monitor also connected so the output type can be changed to component in the NVidia software.
I don't remember which one it defaults to.
The E8400 might cut it if you overclock a little bit.
It's nice to say that your setup can run Gauntlet Legends, but once the novelty of being able to run it wore off, I stopped playing it.
I play NFL Blitz fairly often though. Having a 64 bit OS and 64 bit MAME build make a big difference with Blitz.
You can also reduce the resolution in the DIP switch settings, which makes it less demanding.
I'm barely squeaking by with a 3.4Ghz Athlon X3 and a lot of tweaking.
If all else fails, play the dreamcast versions on a dreamcast emulator.
