How do I remove (world) and things like that from MAME titles?

So I am using MaLa and the mame rom lists has all that misc info after the game title.  How do I remove those things?

options/GUI/gamelists/(tick)remove brackets from games.

Go to the Mala.ini file and open in notepad,
look for the following line
Removebracketsfromname
set to 1

Edit: oops Chopper got in there before I hit post. But his method is even easier.
