Anyone ever widen a cabinet?
« on: November 28, 2003, 07:09:14 am »
Since I can't get my &*^#*^&%$ Tac/Scan spinner off the panel I am thinking about just widening my video poker cabinet so that the ^&$#!^$#@ Tac/Scan panel will fit.

Anybody ever done that?

Sounds like more effort that it's worth, probably easier to cut the panel to fit the cab.

What kind of shape is the overlay in? If it's good I'd be interested in the panel. I'd be willing to either buy the whole thing outright, or buy the panel, remove the spinner and return it to you.

The panel is in too good of shape to cut up. It isn't perfect, but these Sega vector Spinner panels don't grow on trees and this one is more than good enough to go on an original machine.
