cd100 amplifier repair Oz
« on: January 02, 2014, 09:32:12 pm »
Trying to find someone who can repair the 250watt amp in a rowe cd100 jukebox here in Australia.
Originally the output transistors were blown, my local guy (recommended by Hire/jukebox shop) replaced the transistors with the correct numbers.
After putting the amp back into the jukebox it wouldn't work. A faint sound from the speakers when playing cd plus a faint pop when turning unit on/off.
Whilst waiting for the amp to be repaired I bought another one from ebay. It works well in the jukebox, so that means my repaired amp hasn't been fixed.
So does anyone know someone they can recommend in Oz.
Thanks
John

you likely have an issue with the driver boards. there are some resistors and a transistors that can go out of whack and blow everything up.

sadly i live in north america and it would cost a small fortune to ship it.
