info on this 2 Player LED Arcade Control Panel Bundle Kit?

http://gameroomsolutions.com/product/2-player-led-arcade-control-panel-bundle-kit/

anyone try this before?

I like how it has the ball tops and the encoder with it... the ipac seems too expensive and the xarcade kit doesn't have the ball tops.

anyone try these guys before?

it's zippy sticks, not sure about the buttons. Is the seller good?

If I were a craigslist garage flipper it seems like the perfect deal. Imo, none of that stuff would be used on a personal project.

good day.

Not familiar with that vendor, but the encoder looks like a 2-player Xin-Mo. (gamepad-style encoder)

I believe that GGG and Paradise Arcade carry similar boards with prefab wiring harnesses.

GGG and Paradise get theirs from reputable sources, but I'm pretty sure there are some low-quality knockoffs out there that caused some people to complain about lag.    :hissy:

You may want to stick to known good vendors instead of looking for a 1-click package deal.   :dunno

I agree on staying clear of 1 click package deals.
It seems that the parts in these deals have really gone downhill.

I know these deals are tempting but I'd rather not skimp on
controls. I'd stick with Sanwa or even happ.

Piecing the same package together through Groovy Game Gear yields a price of $92.85.  Slightly more, but Randy's service and support are well known and top notch.

Don't waste money on cheap joysticks for a personal project, shave money off the budget somewhere else. You don't want to dump $300 or $800 into a project and then top it off with $4 joysticks.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I wanted to comment being the owner of GameRoomSolutions.  We provide different options for this kit including Sanwa joysticks.  The encoder is Xin-Mo brand and supports PC, PS3, Linux, and Mac.  The point of assembling this kit was to make it easier for beginners to get everything they need along with making it cheaper for experienced guys.  The LED daisy chain harness with molex connector sets it apart from others to power your buttons.  We sell kits on our site and on eBay (feedback link below).  We also have some in-depth setup guides on our site.

I just posted a video showing the led kit in action

Thanks for the mention,
Ryan

Any feedback from someone who actually owns these controls?

I realize that this is a slight necrobump but a search didn't yield me a newer thread.
