Virtua Racing Twin Monitor Replacement Question
« on: December 16, 2013, 10:28:04 pm »
I have a twin sitdown Virtua Racing with one bad monitor.  The broken monitor has a Wells Gardner K5000 chassis on it.  The neck glows orange, but I can't get any video to the tube.

I have been reading and it seems like the K5000 medium resolution monitors are terrible.  I was thinking about ordering the chassis below to replace it.  Its from a Indy 500 Sega racing game that uses 25" medium resolution monitors.  Would it work?

Would it be cheaper to get this chassis sent off for repairs, and if so, who could do it?
