Well.... of course many have. The sloppy way would be to tape off the screen and spray away. The applying thought to something way would be to take apart monitor and spay paint plastic piece to desired color and wait a couple days for paint to properly cure before reassembling. Alternatively you could get some black tape and avoid it all. :p

good day.

Thanks Chopper - of course, electrical tape or black colored tape would do  :banghead:

I agree.  If the monitor is going to be behind black painted plexi anyways, then black tape on the silver monitor bezel would the easiest way and you probably wont even notice it if done cleanly and uniformly.

S h i t... it would take you no time at all to mask it off and spray paint it.

Use painters tape to carefully mask a border across the screen. An exacto knife can help you press the corner of the tape in so its perfectly square. Then find newspaper or plastic and line it in the center of the screen so it lines up with the edges of your tape markings. Mask your newspaper or plastic to your existing tape. Now your whole screen is masked off.

Use rubbing alcohol on your bezel to remove any grease from your hands and what not. Then paint. I prefer krylon fusion because it is made specifically for plastics and requires no primer.
