killer instinct issue

hello i downloaded new mame 151 and rom set and cant get killer instinct working no matter what i try i have the chd in a folder it worked before i upgraded from version 127, hopefully someone is having same issue, thanks

IIRC CHD formats changed around 146.

You'll need to get the new version CHD.

i have the new chd from version 150 if its the same as 151 it should still work right? i tried from several places with same result. would clrmame pro fix this parent rom and chd diff? or better direct me

If you played it with the older version - MAME likely created a file which now is a version mismatch to the current CHD.  Check in your "DIFF" folder and delete the kinst.diff file in order to correct the mismatch and let MAME create one appropriate to the newer CHD.
