Changing skins on MAME4droid

Hy
 i´m trying to change the skins on MAME4droid i´m using a MK802 with Android 4.0 and the MAME4droid is V1.5
 i have made the a new image with the same requesits of the old one 320x240 and .bmp and have renamed the image as splash an repalaced the old one
 but when run MAME4droid the image simple dosen´t  show.
