I get this, weird but I will try and explain.....

When I load HyperSpin for the first time and select any game it works, When got to run in "run box" in start menu, and type 'dxdiag' it says under Video, Direct Draw enabled. I then flick back to HS & select another game & it trys then returns back to HS. If I then check under 'dxdiag' again it then shows Direct Draw as shaded out (not available) & no other games in HS load?

Any ideas

 I am running DirectX 9c

Hi all,

Please help as I am going out my mind 

OK I have installed crt_emudriver_9.3_1.2a_x64_multisync on my PC. I am also using .net frame 3.5, Windows Media Player 12, ALL the MS Updates. Everytime I start Hyperspin & it goes to load a .mp4 video the screen goes black then it starts. Its never done it before so I don't know if its the crt_emudriver_9.3_1.2a_x64_multisync drivers or the latest version of HS. Its killing me as its slowing down my system something chronic.

I will put up a quick vid if it helps. Also if anyone can suggest anything please reply, all thing considered Ahhhhh

Does all the crt drivers have this switch res, the reason I asked is when I started up WinUAE now I get this error when I try & run it in DDraw

DirectDraw is not RTG hardware sprite compatible

it must be something to do with these drivers?

I am trying to run zsnes in low res & I am getting this error

IDirectDraw7: SetDisplayMode failed
Make sure your video card supports this mode

Determined to get to the bottom of this. I posted on another forum and someone said you don't need soft15kz with these drivers. So I uninstalled soft15kz and to be safe reinstalled the CRT drivers again. Then went into Arcade_OSD and it said clamity drivers found. I set it to 640x480 60htz and rebooted. PC returns with no sync.

I hooked it back to my PC monitor and did the same only set the res to 320x240 and rebooted and again, no sync.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Beaps,

With CRT Emudriver 9.3 64 bits, make sure to run VMMaker once they're installed. Edit vmmaker.ini first with your MAME path. That will create the required resolutions.

That did it mate, thanks. Although the vmmaker that came with the CRT drivers only found 8 modes, the one that downloaded separately found I think it was about 40 odd.

I still got other issues but I don't think it's reated to your drivers.
