HLSL Setup - help!

Ok, I tried to set up HLSL and I'm not sure what if I'm doing it correct.

First of I have Windows 7.0 64 bit with the default DirectX 11 installed.  I understand that I need DirectX9.0C.  But I don't think I can install 9.0c over DX11?  I ran the Microsoft DirectX 9.0C install, but not sure if it did anything.

Plus...

I configured the MAME.INI properly to invoke HLSL to the best of what I can find here on this forum....but am I suppose to see an HLSL tab in the Default Game Options tab?  How do I know it's enabled?

I forgot to mention:  I'm using MAMEUI64.151
