I've seen this game mentioned many times as being good on a cab.
Looking at the gameplay vids on youtube, it looks like a mouse might be required to navigate the menus though.
EDIT: The pointer can be moved around with the arrow keys.

You have the option of downloading a DRM free copy or getting a Steam key.

This is a neat game and folks should check it out.  If you can get it at "the pay what you want price," you should.

I don't think it's possible to play 2 players using an ipac with this game.

I could never get this to work on my cab, which is really too bad.  Even though the UI in the game responds to multiple controllers (mouse, keyboard) as soon as you start the game all control (as far as I can tell) must issue from a single controller device.  I use a combination of an iPAC and U360s and it just doesn't work.  If choose keyboard and use Joytokey it doesn't accept the mapped keyboard commands since they are coming from a different device than the CP buttons.  If I try to use the trackball and a CP button (like I do on, for example, Sine Mora), it doesn't works since, once again, the input is being split between two controller devices.  If you are using a gamepad it will work, and it will also work if you use just a keyboard.  I also suspect it would work if I hardwired some CP buttons directly off the trackball or U360 IO header; but in an hour of trying, I couldn't come up with any way to get it to work across two controllers.

Just one more reason to switch from an I-PAC to and A-PAC..  :)

(or if you've got U360s, ditch the I-Pac and hook them up negatively with USB)

I had some weird problems too.  Most of the time player one was using the controls from the keyboard encoder.  Player 2 was mouse and player 3 was xbox360 controller via usb wireless dongle.  Its been a few times now, but what usually happens is that the player 1 indicator goes down and to the right.  I'll exit the game, test via the keywiz uploader program it will test fine and then when I launch the game again, it works fine.

Anyone else have a similar problem?

U360s are hooked up via USB.  I don't see how an A-PAC would be any different since I doubt Jamestown will allow control to come from both a U360 and A-PAC any more than a U360 and an I-PAC.

Sorry, i wasn't clear on that.

If you've got U360s, hook up the U360 via USB and all eight buttons to the U360.  Use the Ipad ONLY for admin buttons for emulators / front ends.   Don't put any of your "joystick" buttons on the ipad, let them be part of the u360 / part of the "gamepad" device.

If you're going to have a gamepad, MAKE IT A GAMEPAD!  Don't fake it by making half the buttons "keyboard" inputs.  :)

I can't think of a single emulator that doesn't accept gamepag (joystick) button inputs today....   so I keep wondering why keyboard inputs are so popular?  maybe easier to script things too?

Right.  That's what I meant when I said that running the buttons directly off the U360's IO header would probably work--something I strongly considered doing when I built the CP.  Problem is that I do a lot of double-mapping on my CP (for example, mapping multiple buttons to the same keystroke to accommodate right/left-handed configurations or alternate layouts), and place some administrative functions on gaming buttons (when a shift button is pressed).  Some emulators like MAME/MESS will handle multiple mappings natively, but others don't.  I'm also pretty sure I have an emulator or two that does not accept gamepad input (strictly keyboard).  Since Jamestown is the only game of interest I've found so far that would benefit from rewiring, its not worth it.
