2 Player games and 4 way joysticks
« on: November 26, 2013, 09:27:02 pm »
Quick question - as I can't think of any off hand.  (and I can't search for the number "2" or the number "4").

Are there 2 player games (2 players at the same time, not alternating) games that had four way sticks?  I'm designing a new cabinet, and I started wondering if both players need a switchable 4 way / 8 way joystick?  Or just player 1?

I want to try out the Ultimarc Servosticks - which are built off Sanwa JLW sticks.  So I figured I could have a server stick for Player 1, and a Sanwa JLW (J-Stick) for Player 2.

Karate Champ - Player Vs Player version used two 4-way sticks per player, and allowed both players to go head-to-head.

I'm pretty sure that you're safe for the most part on having just one stick covering 4-way.
The only game I know of that has two players simultaneous with 4-way sticks is Amazing Maze and it plays pretty well  with 8-ways
