Wireless controls to a jamma harness?
« on: November 25, 2013, 02:51:19 am »
A recent project got me thinking about ways to interface the physical controls (joysticks, buttons) to a jamma harness wirelessly.

I thought someone had surely solved this before but I must be searching the wrong thing. With MAME and console emulation there's a plethora of wireless controllers to hack but with jamma we'll need a distict signal for each direction and button.

Perhaps there are options on the market specifically for this, or perhaps theres an option to hack an aftermarket controller designed for retro consoles which from memory didnt use microcontrollers?

Any leads or ideas appreciated ;)
