Been having new siding put onto the house the last month or so. Yesterday they put in the new windows and one of the guys immediately asked about my phonograph player (

He was really impressed and made sure every other guy that walked in the door saw it.
Later he started asking what other projects I've worked on, so I took him to the basement to show both the finishing of the place (I bought the house a few years ago specifically for the unfinished basement and made quite the enjoyable room out of it) and my arcade machine.
He was really impressed with the machine and the rest of the day kept coming back to talk about it (I'm sure it drove his coworkers nuts). In the end, he told me that he has an old machine he updated with a new tv and shelf for his NES...he asked if I wanted it. Hell yeah! No idea what it looks like but sounded like it was in good shape. still has the coin door, mirrors for the screen, etc, so at the worst, i'll have some spare parts.
Can't wait to come home at the end of a workday to see it sitting in my driveway
