Thats cool man, I have a couple of girlfriends that I will show it to.

As for getting traffic, that alone can almost be a full time job if you dont know what your doing. Finding your target market is key, try looking into some free sites that generate lots of traffic where you can trickle them in.

Also focus on SEO and keywords, if you want shoot me a PM and Ill try to give you a few ideas on where to start.

Nice work.  I do some chainmail work myself.  I notice you are doing butt-links.  How are you cutting your links to get them so clean, dremel and jig?

I just looked at your Etsy store and part of the problem you are having may be, and this sounds silly, your prices are too low.  When Etsy or craft shoppers see prices as low as yours they tend to automatically think that it's mass produced India or China imports.  I'd seriously think of bumping your prices a bit.  Also, your product copy is a little dry.  There is no "Oomph" or emotion to it.  I recommend finding some over-emotional, poetry writing, philosophy major, college kid to gush up your copy.

Sounds silly, but it works.

I bellieve that Etsy lets you open a store but you have to provide your own traffic. No traffic.....no sales.

While I think the prices are more then fair, I dont believe its the issue.

I'll see if I can spice up my item descriptions. I've never been good with words. I've written tons of music over the last 19 years and nothing has lyrics. Like I said above, I just make things.

Slap a few "Huzzah"s on there, and you should be good to go.

My wife and I ran a craft business for a couple years and product copy was our big killer.  I am no-nonsense and want a pic and product specs.  No flowery ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow---.  But I am not the average person.

As soon as we fluffed our descriptions with poetic nonsense, sales went up.  Apparently people want an emotional attachment to their commodities.  Makes no sense to me, but the sales don't lie.

Yotsuya, you in the SCA by chance?  If not, come on out to Encanto Park on Wednesday for fighter practice.  Look me up - Lord Heinrich der Brauer.

Want to know how to get etsy traffic? Make these gaming themed.
Every thing on etsy that makes good money is being spent on by gamers, geeks, and their gamer, geek girlfriends or wives.

My friend's roommate is Awesome Sauce Designs and she says she makes a killing on Mario wallets, stain-glass 1up's and the very popular Baby Burrito (a blanket that looks like an actual burrito). Amongst the other geeky things she has there...

To be honest, I was hoping you had arcade game related jewelry. I have daydreams of wearing the Donpachi Bee medallion on a gold rope like a arcade gaming gangsta. People will be like "check it out, dat playah's hardcore shmuppin' yo!"...and it would be true. :)
