updating mame and front end
« on: November 15, 2013, 04:14:18 pm »
hello i am working through updating my mame dedicated cabinet (my friend did the programming now im stuck without him for this)i was wondering how to go about updating mame and GameEx as my front end on windows xp 32 bit, 1gb ram, i know both have updates and thought i read more games were available and i would like to get a more gui base instead of command line since i know little about it. not sure which version of mame i have but i think i can get to the gameex setup and it tells me right? just dont want to lose the thousands of roms from various arcade and console games. i plan to add a trackball and 2 guns for my kids but that will be later. thanks
