CPS2 RCA to 1/8th Computer Speakers
« on: November 07, 2013, 08:33:26 pm »
I'm using the red/white outputs from the CPS2 A board to a pair of powered monitors that have red/white inputs. These are expensive studio monitors I'd like to have back. I found some old PC powered speakers (for a computer) and was wondering if I could use those?
I just bought a cable from Target that has male red/white to female 1/8th.
However, it only talks about sending the audio signal from the 1/8th to the RCA red/white, and not the other way around. I'd like to know before I slice into the package if this might work?

The reason I can't use the JAMMA audio is below, which is still an aggravating problem.

I have a really odd problem with my CPS2 JAMMA mono sound output. It will only play sound to the speakers if I connect the wires while the cabinet is on. If I turn it off, then back on again with the wires connected from the start, I get no audio from the speakers. Disconnect them in the middle, then touch them back together, and bam, audio.
Still haven't figured that one out.
