ZD Encoder Issues
« on: November 05, 2013, 04:54:44 am »
It worked fine the first few hours, Unplugged it put it away plugged it back in it lights up then goes off quickly and does nothing so I tried replugging it making sure wires were all secure and still get the same problem? Has anyone else experienced this? I have the PS2/PS3/PC Version.

I wanted to post in the original thread and ask the creator but it looks like he no longer develops or makes these.

I don't think the developer ever posted here but there were posts from the member (Vigo) who originally brought them in from China.  I have had one go dead out of 8 or 9 and since the thing is potted over the main chip there is not much that you can do.  If your connection to the USB is good that is about all you can check.

I think they are very susceptible to static, just like all encoders.
