I believe it is called a c-ring, take the shaft to a hardware store and they should be able to hook you up ;D

Yes you can get them separate, it is E-Clip. 50 cent from Bob :D

comp or ultimate has both but it is the same E clip.

For anyone who doesn't know who "Bob" is, Tron84 is talking about The Real Bob RobertsTM.

You can find the clip here.

Definitely an e clip.  The big stores have them.  (Home Depot, Auto Zone.)  I would recommend taking the one you have if you have one into the store (or even take your joystick shaft) instead of paying $5.99 for shipping on a .50 cent part.  I haven't tried any of the tools that you need to place them onto the shaft but a good pair of needle nose pliers and a little elbow grease works just the same.  A quick note too.  I would buy two or three extra for when you put them on.  If you use a little too much elbow grease those little suckers can go flying and they are a ---smurfette--- to find.  Good to have some back ups.   ;D

Not sure exactly what size the clip on the happ is, but you can get them in bulk at harbor freight for not much more than a few at home depot:

Ace (hardware) is the place for buying just one.

And even cheaper if you bring the 20% off any one item coupon from their weekly advert along with you when buying ($7.99 - $1.60 disc = $6.39 !) Plus the free LED flashlight, screwdriver set, or measuring tape !!

I have so many of those tape measures that I don't even bother getting them anymore.  :lol
My location never, ever has the flashlight in stock when the coupon for it is out.

:laugh2: -- Yeah only reason I still pick them up is I have a habit of leaving them laying around and can't remember where they are ! -- the flashlights are a bit harder to pick up as the seem more popular on the weeks they run that item (I've got a few of them by going on the day the get new stock in)
