bronzetone plexiglass
« on: November 21, 2003, 08:54:54 pm »
I saw a sheet of this at the local hardware store. I was wondering if anyone else has used this for their bezel and how it turned out.  I have seen posts about the improved picture people have gotten with smoked plexiglass and was hoping maybe this would have the same effect.  Then again I suppose the bronze coloring could screw up the color on the monitor.

I bought some bronze from Tap Plastics - it is awesome...defintately recommended...

The cool part is that it makes the monitor harder to see, but when it is turned on, all is good with the world.
5 MAME cabs and counting...

Ever wonder what full side art looks like?

Thanks for the input Soslo.  I just picked up some tonite.  Can't wait to get it mounted. ;)

I also used bronze plexi and I'm really happy with it.  The guy at my local glass shop was so geeked about what I was using it for, he cut two pieces for me, one bronze and one grey then drove them over to my house for a test.  We tried them both and the bronze looked  better to me.  If I make another cab I'm sure I'll go with bronze again.
What would happen if the whole world farted at the same time?
