current ini/xml files for romlister?

i just updated a romset to 150 and i'd like to remove the adult and mahjongg games from my setup..and perhaps some games that require controls that i dont have.  ( I use MaLa for my front end) from what i read, i can use romlister to accomplish this. (if there is a better way, please elaborate) i downloaded romlister, but it is asking for a bunch of other files in order to work...controls.xml, catver.ini, nplayers.ini...it has links to download them, but they are either dead or really outdated.

where can i find current versions of these files?  i'm assuming that since the roms always need updated when updating mame versions, these files would need updated as well....so, where can i get them for mame 150?

controls.xml is the most troublesome, as it is harder to keep up to date.  I use the one from here:
