a) Yours isn't new.
b) If I wanted a trackball, I certainly wouldn't pay $70 from X-Gaming. Anybody who does is a sucker.
c) I know of multiple sources to get one - new - for under $30

For $15, they're worth my while. I don't really even need one, but if he's able to part it out and maybe even make more from it, why wouldn't I ask? He's already bogarted the joys and buttons.

Figure he'd be better off buying the set of buttons\joysticks directly from Xarcade for $30 ( http://www.xgaming.com/store/arcade-parts-and-accessories/product/arcade-parts-bundle-2-joysticks-20-buttons/ ) and selling the thing as a working unit than pulling them out of this one and trying to sell the leftover parts -- figure someone on the local craigslist would probably pay him the $70 ($40 he wants plus the $30 for the buttons\joys) if he listed it for $90 and settled for the $70 but doubt anyone would bite on these parts for $40.

Figure it might even be worth investing the $30 to rebuild it and sell locally this xmas season and that way he might actually get the $70.
