What was the game? Spot the difference
« on: October 19, 2013, 12:20:33 pm »
Hi,

I once had a game where you could select multiple games. One of them was a spot the difference between the images game. One player could search on the left picture, the other one on the right picture.

Does anybody know the name of that arcade game?

The Midway Touch Master multi-games are emulated in MAME. Try Touch Master 7000 (tm7k) as it has a 2 player "Mirror" game under the Skill category that is similar to what you describe.

OP is speaking of a MAME game.  I remember seeing this too.  More clunky than Photo Hunt as it is not touch screen.

If I come across it, I'll post.

Update: I've got it as 'New Hidden Catch'.  (Perhaps there is also a 'Hidden Catch' too)

pclubys           Puzzle Club (Yun Sung, set 1)

is a multi-game title with a 2-player spot the difference game in it..

deluxe5           Deluxe 5 (ver. 0107, 07/01/2000)

is another possibility (very similar to the above)

if you like that type of thing be sure to check out these non-multigame versions
magerror          Magical Error wo Sagase
photoy2k          Photo Y2K (ver. 105)
searchp2          Search Eye Plus V2.0   ('sequel' to the game in the Puzzle Club collection)
ssfindo           See See Find Out  (although performacne requirements are stupidly high on this one, and it has no sound)
and of course the Hidden Catch series perviously mentioned
