Midway Cabinet 2 Players - Audio cabling
« on: October 16, 2013, 06:40:27 pm »
Hello,

I wonder if the speakers in my Jamma cabinet, it's a Midway Killer Instinct cab, have not only sound via Jamma Connector but also power?

If I turn off the cabinet from the main power switch the speakers are also turned off and I can't hear sound anymore from my still running 2019 in 1 PC board which is powered by a separate ATX Mainboard.

I thought the speakers are just hooked to the Jamma harness but it seems that powering of the cabinets power also switches off the speakers?
Is there any amplifier or isn't the speakers passive only?
