Bond metal to wood?
« on: November 20, 2003, 09:04:01 am »
Any suggestions on how to securely bond metal (i.e. joystick shaft) to wood?  would epoxy do this?
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

yeah Epoxy would do the trick.  There are all kind and types for specific jobs.  I would go to home depot and just start reading the backs of the boxes, they usually have some sort of cross-referencing chart you can look up your specific need.  Like wood-to-metal would be so and so product, etc.

good luck. and what are ya concocting?
