aimtrak signal interference from lit trackball
« on: October 13, 2013, 05:32:23 pm »
I noticed when setting up a pair of ultimarc aimtraks they calibrated and tracked much better when the blue lit trackball centered in the panel was off.  Specifically a new electric ice trackball wired for constant blue illumination.

All joking aside about compatibility problems between ultimarc and GGG - Anybody run into this before?  Any chance it would be better with red or green only?  Dont know if red and green give off IR.  Any such thing as a non IR blue LED?  Thanks.

EDIT:  found a problem with the lightbar - switched it out with the other one and now trackball/exterior windows don't bother it.
