Help with coin mech for this door?
« on: October 05, 2013, 12:01:56 pm »
Hi there,

I have been searching the forum and attempting to see how a coin mech mounts to this door, and wonder if there is a part missing from the back of the door?
The door is the original from an Electrocoin Silverline and I would like to keep it if possible, but I'm wondering how a mech would attach before I go ahead and order one.
Would anyone have any idea? seems the metal studs may have something to do with it, but I really am at a loss and don't want to buy a mech only to find that I need some other part also.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Unless UK mechs are radically different than US ones I would have to say that you don't have everything you need there.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Thanks for that paigeoliver. That's what I suspected - anyone have any tips from here on? I expect it's simplest just to order a new door and coin mech, or is it possible to obtain the parts for the existing door to mount a coin mech?

Thanks again,
