Rowe AMI CD 100 Problem 1992 model
« on: October 02, 2013, 10:40:57 am »
Hi everybody, names Charlie.  I just bought my first jukebox and its a 1992 Rowe AMI Cd 100.  Here is my problem:  I play one song and it works, after the first song, it takes about 3 minutes until my next song plays.  I only put one cd in to test it out, so all of my selections are being made to the same disc obviously.. After the first song, the jukebox keeps trying to play different cds that aren't even in the box, the cd reader spins for a few seconds and then it stops, it acts like its putting the cd back and continues to do this a few more times before it plays the song that i picked.. I timed how long it takes to play the song i picked, and it varies from 2 and a half minutes to over 3 minutes, can anybody help me out here?  I do not have the manuals to read, so i'm hoping someone here can help me, i'd greatly appreciate it!  Thanks for your time!

u should get the manual
and go to programming..
reason i say this is that is sound's like it is scanning the full selection to :learn: what is in the box..
easy test here is to load it fully up
and re-play same song same title after it does a scan to learn :how-many-cd's it has-in -it:,it should come back to it every time
if not your ccc bat.may be going south

manual first here is in order

Hi Charlie,

Ed is correct the jukebox has to going into servicing and initalise each CD to know what cd's are present and the number of tracks on each CD.

Manual and much reading required sadly there is no short cut.
