Important info about Joy Choose and Control Choose Plugins
« on: September 20, 2013, 09:46:39 pm »
Thanks to tonysilveira for finding this.
Seems the newer versions of Mame create a different xml file as far as the control definitions.
So this means that joy choose and control choose wont recognize the new wordings for the controls.
I am working on a fix for this. please let me know if you are having trouble with these plugins.

Looks like the newer version of mame builds an xml file that splits joysticks into 2 strings, "Joy" and "4" or "8".
Mala sends this to joychoose as a single string, so I guess Im asking Mala programmers to come up with a fix on their end, unless Im missing something here.
