Just saw this and it looked promising because although it's an ATOM processor, it's at least x86 architecture.
I think something like this would be fine with Windows XP....

Why would you work in Virtualization technology and only 1 Ghz of proc power? It kind of limits you but I'm always interested in this type of stuff.

Just noticed it's 200 bucks too. Nevermind. If you're really going to go that route you could buy a low end NUC in the same formfactor.
