Crosley digital Jukebox
« on: September 20, 2013, 08:06:43 pm »
Another question.  (though so far NONE of mine been answered YET)  Hopefully this one will be.   Are Crosley jukeboxes that have the mac mini and touch screen any good?  I am tempted to get one.   I would of course upgrade the audio system as the seller tells me that it won't shake a house  or anything but has decent sound.   I have a Powermac 5 and it sounds great through my stereo.  I assume that a Mac Mini would be the same.  Thanks and I hope someone answers.

I put a down payment on the jukebox.  I will get it mid Oct.    I know it isn't full size. and it is not a commercial unit.  it has that look and a mini mac.  and touch screen . it will be great and someday I will get a fullsize  Rockola   or the like replica.  I saw one for sale  and they claim that you can't run it at home. must be used in a commercial setting and it will be 250 a month license fee.    I wonder if you could bypass that and rip cds to it and avoid  that fee.   or would a touch tunes type of jukebox run Jukebox'er

I would love to order a kit or a cabinet.  I talked to Victory Glass and he had nothing but negative things to say to me about building my own Jukebox.  I was hoping he would know if there were plans to a Wurlitzer 1015  or a kit.

Yeah the guy from South America??  that was an awesome jukebox.  If I saw that in a shop I would swear it was built by Wurlitzer or something   There is another one called Febo  or something.  I PMed the guy and he never wrote me back . I would like to build one like his.
