VESA Mount for Cocktail Cabinets
« on: September 17, 2013, 01:01:51 pm »

I'm working on my first arcade build and I'm down the last component:  the cabinet itself.  I'm planning to buy North Coast's Ultimate Cocktail 2 kit.  I've studied the manual they've posted online and it's set up for a CRT installation.  I have a HP LP2065 LCD.  Does anyone have any recommendations for how best to mount that inside that cabinet?  Is there a good VESA mount that will attach to the crossboard designed to hold the CRT?  Thanks.

Looking at the assembly instructions, I'd personally use a chunk of lumber and a couple of L brackets. Drill the board to the Vesa pattern, mount the display, then center it up on the screen opening. Use that and a level as a reference to mark/drill/screw the L-Brackets in, bam, done.
