Mag Stik Plus - hole size
« on: September 11, 2013, 11:31:55 am »
I understand that the Mag Stik comes apart in a way that the shaft and mounting plate can be all dislodged.  In that regard I'm thinking whether I should just do that instead of making a hole and feeding the bat stick through.  I will drill a smaller hole such as 1 1/8 and feed the shaft through and then reassemble the unit.   That way, if I ever change joysticks, I'm not left with a larger hole from the Magstik.

I believe the hole size that I need to fit the Mag Stik through is 1 3/8"??

Mag Stik comes apart easily and uses a 1 1/8 hole in my cabs.

Hmm...a hole size of 1 1/8" will allow the bat top the feed right through?  The bat top seems larger than that.  The specs says 33mm, which I thought would require a 1 3/8" hole

Just drill a 1 1/8"hole like for the buttons. Place the shaft after under-mounting the stick:

Thanks all!  Duh on me....I wasn't thinking of dismantling the Mag stik and feeding just the shaft through, but instead envisoned passing the entire Bat top through.  But makes sense doing it this way - :)
