Handy addition to Buy/Sell/Trade
« on: November 17, 2003, 05:23:40 pm »
I have a suggestion for the Buy/Sell/Trade forum, but it might be too much work for anyone to maintain.

Basically once a month Happ puts seemingly random parts on sale at their site.  If all of this were posted in a sticky post at the top of the Buy/Sell/Trade forum it would help people like all the poor ---daisies--- who missed out on the Perfect 360 1/2-off sale or some of the great trackball sales they've had in the past.

I don't know if this would require someone to vigilantly surf all through the Happ online catalogue looking for differences or if you can get a list of just their sale items anywhere.  If it's the former than maybe it's too much work.  It sure would help members of the board improve their cabinets at a faster pace, though.

That said, I'm not volunteering.  There's no way I could even consider participating in any of the gruntwork until at least summertime when school is out.  Being that I won't volunteer my time I feel like I shouldn't be requesting features that would require ongoing maintainance, but I digress...

It would be a nice.

There always is http://happcontrols.com/monthlyspecials.htm

You have to d/l the pdf files and look through them (and usually only the amusement one matters to us).  Not pre-sorted like you suggest, but pretty easy if you have the bandwidth.
