Adding Games to Groovy Arcade / Groovymame - Modlines?
« on: August 23, 2013, 04:17:20 pm »
Hi,
Iīve just setup up my cab with Groovy Arcade (Hantarex 9000 Arcade Monitor, ArcadeVGA). Everything worked fine with the demo roms from Groovy Arcade. But now, I added some other ROMS and most of them have disturbed screens/flicker... 10% are working, but the most didnīt. Is there any addition step (I only copied the roms into the directory) i have to do? Something like "register" the roms for correct modlines or something similar.
Thanks,
Kry

Copying the roms into the folder is enough. It's probably just a coincidence and your new roms happen to use resolutions which either your monitor is not properly adjusted to synchronize on them or your card doesn't support. What card are you using btw? Let me know some games/resolutions that don't work so we can spot the problem.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
