Regarding your basic PC build, does it support booting with a keystroke? (As in, I don't have to press the power button).

Resuming from sleep, sure. But cold-booting from a keypress? Honestly have no idea. Will have to investigate that.

If it's available, it would be an option in the BIOS. This is a make-or-break feature for me; I want my arcade to be as easy to use as possible. Please let me know!

Last month+ with work has been murder, working crazy hours and sometimes overnight meetings. But I’m salary, so the lack of overtime makes up for it. Wait… what?

Between that and taking care of the kids and trying to squeeze in time to make repairs on the house, I couldn’t make commitments to doing any new orders until the dust cleared from this chaos. I’ve been watching my mail for any post purchase support issues, but didn’t want to comment on any new orders until I knew I can turn them around in an acceptable time-frame. I actually wanted to make this post a couple times in the past weeks, but always major drama with either the home-front or work would pull me away.

I also realized that with Microsoft’s Windows 10 free offer expiring the end of this month, I wanted to make sure I made available what I could, for any still interested in that aspect of the cheap PC offers. So I’ll have a dozen Basics ready to ship by the end of this week, and more if the demand calls for it the following week.

So I’ll be replying to PMs about availability shortly. Anyone interested let me know so I can setup a queue and know what I’m prepping out. Again, I’ve been setting up about a dozen over the weekend to be ready to ship soon, but can work on more if it’s called for.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I hope to be finally past the crazy schedule demands for now.

I have a modder i would be willing to sell. It has an EVGA 2gb GT 730 in it and upgraded to 16gb of RAM.

Bought from Tkwarrior and has served me well. Upgrading to a custom built PC now that i have money.

230 shipped.

Was able to get the orders placed since my last post shipped despite the kids giving me their Pneumonia. Still have laptops and Basics left to any that want them. I may do some in Windows 10 just in case they are wanted after the free trial runs out.

Also provided some windows 7 COA codes, I don't have many of them but if I missed anyone that PM-ed me asking for them let me know.

Just as an FYI, I put Win 10 on my modder and tossed in an SSD. It runs great and boots up in around 7 secs. I haven't had any issues with Windows 10 on it and I've even added a decent video card. Currently using it to run a mini pinball cabinet and running arcade games on the backglass.

Sorry for the necro bump but I'm running into an issue and wanted to see if anyone else had the same experience.  I have one of the Basics (I believe it is a Thinkcentre M90) and it works great.  I tried to install a Radeon HD 5450 graphics card in it to use with GroovyMame.  The card works fine in another PC I have but when I install it in the M90 it will not boot.  I flashed the BIOS but still no luck.  I'm wondering if this motherboard doesn't support the HD 5450.  Has anybody else run across this?

Half heigh Pcie... um is there a speed or something> I thought there was pcie x16, x8 etc??   Any recommendations from amazon.ca? Is Low profile the same as half profile?

What about ram/? what type of ram is it? I have 8 right now.

Is the video upgrade worth it? Will it stop the laggy ps2.. right now its playable just lags.. I also have not updated emulator in a couple years..

Use CPU-ID to check RAM.
I believe the video card sockets in those are PCIe 8x

I attached the memory read out.. it says 8G DDR 3... however I do not understand if that is one stick at 8 G or different? how many slots are available inside? is there a MAX amount?

if you open the case you can see how many RAM slots there are. These machines top out at 8 or 16 , google is your friend.

I bought a low profile Zotac gt 730 card.. fits great... and really helps the system! I can now run PS2, Cemu and 3ds! awesome... just need to find those games now..

I have one of the modder pc's that I just got in last week from the OP and I got in the visontek r7 250 card yesterday (have a sapphire one in the basic pc), so installed that card in the modder pc and checked gauntlet legends again. 

So looks like the modder pc was solid with the r7 250 card.

Hi all, I got both the modder and basic. I just a got a Sapphire R7 250 low profile video card and the box states a recommended 400watt or higher power supply. Would there be any issues popping this in either pc without changing the power supply?

usually if it needs an extra power connector you need to upgrade the PS, if it doesnt odds are you'll be ok.

Thanks for the reply. On one of my modders, I've installed a GTX 1050 2GB but can't get Ridge Racer/RR2/Rave Racer to run at 100% in Mame. Anyone else try these? I believe Mame relies more on the CPU, not the video card, but I could be wrong. BTW, Supermodel runs great with the video card, especially when compared to the onboard.
